Topic Research in Evernote

You and your partner will choose one of the following topics to present to the class. The first four topics are on famous experiments in recent history. The links below will provide information on the topic. The other three are experiments that you and your partner will design and conduct using your classmates as subjects. All seven topics require a multimedia visual such as Prezi or Glogster to enhance your chosen topic.

Just for Fun - Estimating the Correlation Coefficient

click on the following link to practice estimating the correlation of a data set. Look for the button labeled new plots at the bottom. Each time you select new plots an additional four data sets appear. It will also keep track of how many you get right. See how long you can maintain a perfect record. Enjoy!

Notes Ch 8 - Linear Regression

The following presentation contains your notes for Chapter 8. For many of you the majority of the first part is review. We will wait and do the second part (Residuals) on Thursday. The new information includes using formulas on your formula sheet to calculate the LSRL. You will also have to be able to interpret in sentence form the slope, r, and r^2. Follow the directions on the presentation.
